Trigger Racing is pleased to announce a new partnership with Team Concise for the 2018 Class 40 season and Route du Rhum. This partnership will consist of the loan of the Class 40 racing yacht ‘Concise 8’ for the 2018 season, which will allow Jack Trigger to race on the Class 40 circuit, including a mixture of solo, double handed and crewed racing, both offshore and coastal.
‘Concise 8’ is a 3rd generation Class 40, custom designed by Ker Yacht Design and built by McConaghy boats in China in 2013. Thanks to her radical design she has proven time and again to be one of the fastest boats in the fleet, and is certainly capable of achieving top results against newer designs.
‘We couldn’t be more excited about how the season is shaping up, thanks to Team Concise and Tony Lawson we have a boat which we know is fast and one that I personally know inside out, which means we should be able to hit the ground running. The calendar for the year is full of some very exciting races and we’ve got a fantastic team of people supporting us. In reality the hard work starts now as we wind up pre-season, we’re itching to get going!’
‘We want to say a huge thank you to Team Concise and Tony Lawson for the continued support, and are looking forward to working together on a successful campaign.’
